Bike Brands

Our role is to provide expert advice and guide you towards a bike that matches your specific needs. From beginner to expert, off-the-peg or tailored build.

We have bikes for adults, juniors and kids.

We have selected brands that offer high quality products underpinned by a strong independent ethos. We also seek brands with major UK or European assembly and manufacturing operations.

A small selection of bikes and frames are displayed in store.

Custom Builds

We specialise in custom or tailored builds. From adapting 'off the peg' bikes to building a bike from frame up, all our custom bikes start by gaining an understanding of your unique requirments.

Our approach to custom builds is to initially seek to adapt an existing bike from one of our principle brands. However, it may be that your specific requirement requires a frame up build or you may just want something unique, why not!

Alongside our principle brands we have built bikes using frames from De Rosa, Argon 18, Tifosi, Cinelli, Kinesis

With the exception of the mass market giants (pun intended) we have access to many more brands.

All ORRO bikes are designed in the heart of Sussex at their dedicated facility at the foot of the hallowed Ditchling Beacon. Bikes are also assembled to order at this UK facility. ORRO is firmly at the forefront of UK bicycle design and manufacture

Alongside access to the full range of ORRO bikes we frequently use ORRO frames for custom and tailored builds.

Jerry & Shelley Lawson founded Frog Bikes in 2013. It was a fruitless bike hunt for their own two children that inspired them to leave their corporate careers behind and create bikes just for kids.

As they set about creating quality, lightweight & affordable kids' bikes Frog Bikes was born. Seven years down the line and Frog's child-centred approach has earned them global accolade; industry awards for innovation and design and an award-winning factory in South Wales.

The Frog Bikes range covers ages from 18 months to 14 years old. Frog consulted with Brunel University & renowned bicycle engineer Dimitris Katsanis (of Team GB Olympic fame) to develop bikes from the ground. These are not scaled down adult bikes!

NS Bikes are a genuine rider owned brand. Hailing out of Poland these guys have been at the forefront of the free ride MTB culture since the early 2000s.

NS Bikes as their motto states 'stay true' to this independent ethos. NS accept they are unlikely to be the choice of the “Hey, I want to buy a mountain bike because it’s cool” customer." while they continue to grow a passionate global following.

We have access to the full NS range of bikes and frames.

The Light Blue bicycles began life way back in 1895, when John Albert Townsend produced hand built bicycles for the wealthy members of Cambridge University.

These custom made machines were produced in a converted dairy in Norfolk Street in the city at a rate of around six bicycles per week.

The Light Blue brand name was inspired by the World famous university's sporting 'colours'.

The Light Blue bicycles offer a range of traditional urban/city bikes, retro/traditional steel road bikes and modern touring bikes.

All road and touring frames use high grade Reynolds 853, 725 or 531 tubing and are available as frame only for custom/tailored builds.

Before the automobile, before the airplane, Fuji began as a bicycle company – founded in 1899 and named for one of the world’s the most iconic peaks. In the 120 years since, the Fuji brand and its distinctive mountain logo have been synonymous with cycling and cyclists everywhere, which is why you still hear riders say,
“My first bike was a Fuji.”
